Voice Recognition System: Notes
The functional description describes the voice recognition system for the following vehicles:
- E81, E82, E87, E88, E90, E91, E92, E93 (BMW 1 Series, 3 Series)
- E60, E61, E63, E64 (BMW 5 Series, 6 Series)
- E70 (BMW X5)
- R55, R56 (MINI)
This functional description only applies to vehicles that are equipped with a voice recognition system (optional extra 620) , but not with CCC (optional extra 609) .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
