Service mode

Proceed as follows to call up the service mode:
- Terminal 30 g ON
- Switch off the radio
- Switch on the radio again
- Within 8 seconds, press the button for the manual station-search function and then maintain pressure for a period of at least 8 seconds
- The radio responds by switching to the service mode.
Once the radio is in the service mode the following functions can be accessed and executed:
- Display of the serial number
- Display of the software version
- Display of the revision index
- Display and setting adjustment for speed-dependent volume control (GAL)
- Display and adjustment of the setting for aerial selection
- Frequency display, field strength and station transmission quality
- Display of status and incrementation of the digital sound processor
- Display and adjustment of the minimum volume for traffic reports
- Display test
- Display and adjustment of settings for reception areas
- Display and adjustment settings of the Car & Key Memory
- Adjustment of the setting for alternate frequency tracing
- Display of test operation in development
