There is a danger of trapping when working in the area of the convertible top system. Make sure convertible top is not actuated during work.

Necessary preliminary tasks:Β 

NOTE: Prior to removing, pay attention to the exact installation position with respect to the adjoining components.

Move convertible top into position shown.

Lift clamping bracket and soft top compartment cover upright.

Release expansion rivets (1).

Release screws (2).

Raise panel for convertible top compartment (3) in covered area.

Feed out cross-member cover (4) towards top.

Installation:Β 

Feed all screws/expander rivets onto cross-member cover (4).

Align cross-member cover (4) with rollover protection system and secure with screws/expander rivets.
