51 61... Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Rollover Protection System Strut
Risk of damage!
Driving without the strut is not permitted!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear seat back . See SEATS - REPAIR (CONVERTIBLE) .
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque, see 51 71 27AZ in 51 71 SEALS AND LOOSE BODY PARTS .
Release screws (2) and remove strut (3).
Tightening torque, see 51 71 28AZ in 51 71 SEALS AND LOOSE BODY PARTS .
Installation:
Replace all screws.
