Fault text
Bank 2 pre-catalyst oxygen sensor Nernst cell wire fault

Fault description

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
* Engine temperature > K_LAVK_OBD_TMOT * relative
induction charge within the limits
K_LAVK_OBD_PLAU_RF_Max and
K_LAVK_OBD_PLAU_RF_Min; no dynamic response *
exhaust-gas temperature within the limits
K_LAVK_OBD_PLAU_TKat_Max and
K_LAVK_OBD_PLAU_TKat_Min * after W
Terminal condition: Engine running -
idle or partial load
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
* Query for controller at min. limit and cold oxygen sensor
(heater error) => leads to oscillator deactivation * Check of
oxygen sensor voltage whether at lower threshold
K_LAVK_OBD_PLAU_UN_SCHW

Action in service
1. Check plug and wiring harness at Bank 2 pre-catalyst
oxygen sensor (especially UN Nernst voltage)
2. If OK, replace sensor
