Necessary preliminary tasks:Β
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Switch off ignition
- Remove fan cowlΒ , see 17 11 035 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FAN COWL WITH ELECTRIC FAN (N54) .
Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Release screw.
Tightening torque 12 14 4AZΒ , see 12 14 ELECTRONIC SHIFT UNITS OR CONTROL UNITS .
Remove pulse generator (2).
