Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove knob for controller . See 61 31 192 REPLACING KNOB FOR CONTROLLER .
- Remove center console trim . See 51 16 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTRE CONSOLE TRIM .
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Install knob for controller only when controller is installed.
Install knob for controller only when controller is installed.
Release screws (1).
Unclip parking brake with trim (2) towards top.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2).
Remove parking brake button (3) from trim.
