The signals which are triggered by the turn-indicator/high-beam switch steering column stalk (1) or wiper switch (3) are made available to the footwell module (4) or the junction box electronics (6).
The button signals at the multifunction steering wheel (8) are directed through the coil-spring assembly (9) to the steering column switch cluster (2), where they are evaluated and then transmitted across the FlexRay.
