61 35 220 - Removing and installing (replacing) control unit for left or right front door

Read out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
- Print out and make a note of settings for car and key memory in CKM menu





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front door trim





Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
If necessary, unclip electrical leads at points (2).
Release screws (3).
Remove control unit in front door (4).





Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
- Check printed-out or noted-down settings for car and key memory in CKM menu and reset if necessary
