36 11 105 - Removing and installing RDC (Tire Pressure Control) control unit





Important!

Note:
When replacing the control unit, also attach the warning notice to the rear lid (1) E60 and (2) E61 or check that one is present.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim 51 47 101 Removing and Installing/Replacing Luggage Compartment Floor Trim Panel
- If necessary, remove spare wheel
- Remove luggage compartment recess panel





Take off cover for control units (1).

Installation Note:
Make sure cover for control units (1) is correctly seated on locating pins (2).





Remove RDC control unit (1) from device holder.
Disconnect plug connection (2).





Replacement:
- Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning
