- 32 1 270 32 1 270 Plugs (Set)
Warning!
Risk of injury!
Refrigerant circuit is under high pressure!
Follow safety instructions for handling R 134a refrigerant.
Follow safety instructions for handling refrigerant oil Instructions for Handling Refrigerant Oil (for Refrigerant R 134a).
Avoid contact with refrigerant and refrigerant oil.
Important!
Risk of damage!
Restart engine only when A/C system has been correctly filled.
Read and comply with notes on replacing compressor. Instructions for Compressor Replacement
Follow instructions Removal and Replacement for opening and replacing parts in refrigerant circuit.
If A/C system is opened for more than 24 hours:
Replacing drier insert for A/C system
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Drawing off, evacuating and filling the A/C system Drawing off, Evacuating and Filling A/C System (R 134a) are not included in the time value given for this work operation
- Remove right intake filter housing Removing and Installing Right Intake Filter Housing (S85)
- Remove A/C compressor drive belt Replacing A/C Compressor Drive Belt
- Remove front underbody protection Removing and Installing / Replacing Front Underbody Protection
- Remove stabilizer from front axle carrier Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Stabilizer
- Remove right tension strut from front axle carrier Removing and Installing/Replacing Both Tension Struts
Release bolts (1).
Disconnect pressure and suction lines.
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Installation Note:
Replace all sealing rings and moisten with refrigerant oil.
Tightening torque 64 52 1AZ Specifications.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 64 52 3AZ Specifications.
Important!
Seal openings or lines on compressor with special tool 32 1 270 32 1 270 Plugs (Set) to prevent escape of media and fouling.
Note:
Secure compressor (1) against falling out.
Release screw (2).
Release bolts (3) and feed out compressor (1).
Installation Note:
Tightening torque 64 52 3AZ Specifications.
After installation:
- Evacuate and fill A/C system Drawing off, Evacuating and Filling A/C System (R 134a)
