Description and Operation
NOTE: The Body-Gateway Module (KGM) will be fitted as of 09/2005 in the E60, E61, E63, E64. The KGM replaces the gateway function of the Safety and Gateway Module (SGM) fitted to date. The following additional functions are integrated in the KGM:
- Front central-locking system (previously in the door module)
- Front power windows (previously in the door module)
- Door mirrors (previously in the door module)
- Front door lighting (previously in the door module)
- Micro power module
- Servotronic
