66 31 006 Removing and installing (replacing) ACC sensor
This service information is valid for the entire F-series with the new ACC sensor.
For previous version, refer to REMOVING/INSTALLING/REPLACING SHORT-RANGE SENSOR (2009-2010)Β and REMOVING/INSTALLING/REPLACING LONG-RANGE SENSOR (2009-2010)Β .
Necessary preliminary tasks:Β
- Remove the ornamental GRILLE FOR THE BUMPER PANEL (CENTER) .
Loosen screws in marked area on the rear side of the ACC sensor (1).
Tightening torque 66 31 1AZ .
Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Remove ACC sensor (1).
After installation:Β
- If applicable, ADJUST THE ACC SENSORΒ .
Replacement:Β
- Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND ENCODING .
- Carry out ADJUSTMENT OF ACC SENSORΒ .
