Service interval indicator consists either of colored LED blocks or actual mileage remaining until next service. See Figure. Service indicator (which displays OIL SERVICE, INSPECTION I or INSPECTION II) can be reset using the reset tool (models with under-hood diagnostic connector such as Z3 and 7-Series) or instrument cluster odometer button (models without under-hood diagnostic connector such as 3-series and 5-series).
