Necessary preliminary tasks:Β 

Disconnect plug connections (1).

Unlock catch (2) in direction of arrow and pull out control unit (3) towards top.

Replacement:Β 

Using BMW scan tool, carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:

  • Programming
  • Coding
  • Car & Key Memory
  • CD "CIP"
