61 35 950 - Removing and installing (replacing) control unit for comfort access system





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove flap in luggage compartment panel on right Service and Repair.
- Disconnect battery negative lead Instructions for Disconnecting and Connecting Battery.





Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Open catches (2) in direction of arrow and remove control unit for comfort access system (3) towards top.





Replacement:
Carry out coding/programming.
Observe following IDC specifications:
- Programming
- Coding
- If necessary, car & key memory
- CD "CIP"
