Removing And Installing/Replacing Module For Passenger Compartment Protection
NOTE:
Remove airbag control unit.
Remove right glovebox.
Remove panel for pedal assembly.
Remove all clip-fitted trims on panel for instrument panel.
Release panel for instrument panel.
Remove holder (1) towards front.
Detach insulating mat (2) towards rear.
Cut carpet (3) as illustrated and lay to one side.
Unscrew nut (1).
Raise module for passenger compartment protection (2) on right and pull in direction of arrow out of guide (3).
Disconnect plug connection (4).
Installation:
Ensure module for passenger compartment protection (2) is in correct installation position.
