The multifunction lamp remains on after ignition on and engine start.
Flash code readout is not possible.
Possible causes:
Short to ground on the wire from the ABS/ASC control unit Pin 51 to the instrument cluster
Malfunction in the ABS/AS C control unit
Troubleshooting:
Switch off ignition and disconnect the ABS/ASC control unit. Switch on ignition.
ASC multi-function lamp lights:
Check wire from ABS/ASC control unit Pin 51 to instrument cluster for a short and repair wire.
ASC multi-function lamp does not light:
Replace ABS/ASC control unit.
