Check function:
[D] 100 - This status inquiry is only possible as of model '89. With ignition ON or during engine operation, the main relay is driven with ground potential at terminal 85 (display: ON). The relay switches on and supplies the control units DME, AEGS, EML and ABS with voltage.
Possible causes.
- Wire to DME control unit Pin 36 detective
- Relay 2 or voltage supply not OK.
- Voltage supply for DME control unit not OK.
- The control unit is defective it no ground potential is output at control unit Pin 36 although the above points are OK.
