Control Units
/ASC Elec. Control Unit Behind left side of dash. ABS Control Unit In electrical box, behind right shock tower (module closest to shock tower). A/C Compressor Control Unit Behind left kick panel. Air Intake Control Unit In electrical box, behind right front shock tower. Anti-Theft Module Under left side of rear seat. Automatic Air Recalculation Control Unit Behind left kick panel. Check Control Module In engine compartment fuse/relay block. See Figure. Chime Module Under left side of dash (round unit with 3-pin & 4-pin connectors). Crash Control Module In engine compartment fuse/relay block. See Figure. Cruise Control Module In electrical box, behind right shock tower (2nd module near firewall). Digital Motor Electronics (DME) Control Unit In electrical box, behind right front shock tower. EML Control Unit In electrical box, behind right front shock tower. Electronic Trans. Control Unit (A/T) Behind right kick panel. General Module In passenger compartment fuse/relay block. See Figure. Headlight/Front Foglight Cleaning System Module On auxiliary relay block. See Figure. Integrated Climate Regulation Control Unit Behind left center of dash, on left side of A/C-heater plenum. Light Control Module In engine compartment fuse/relay block. See Figure. Memory Seat/Mirror Control Unit Under left side of dash. Power Sun Roof Control Unit Under left side of dash. Rear Wiper/Washer Interval Control Unit On left side of luggage compartment, behind side panel. Relay Module In passenger compartment fuse/relay block. See Figure. Servotronic Control Unit Behind left kick panel. SRS (Air Bag) Diagnostic Module Behind left side of dash, to left of steering column. Wheel Camber Control Unit Below right rear of vehicle, near differential.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- β’ Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- β’ The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
