Oxygen Sensor Replacement:
1. Disconnect oxygen sensor wire plug.
2. Remove the heat-shield in front of sensor (if equipped).
3. Unscrew the oxygen sensor.
4. Coat threads of new sensor with "anti-seize" lubricant (don't get any lubricant an to the tip of sensor, this could render the sensor inoperative), Fig. 21.
5. Install new oxygen sensor and torque to 55 ± 5 Nm (40 ± 3 ft. lbs.).
6. Reinstall the heat-shield.
7. Reconnect oxygen sensor wire plug.
