Operation
At coolant temperatures below 53°C (127°F), the solenoid valves which actuate the vacuum plungers are isolated, so that the DEFROST flap position is automatically obtained. At coolant temperatures above 53°C (127°F), the vacuum plunger inhibit circuit is no longer effective, so that the air outlets open in accordance with the preselected program and the position of the control unit lever.
