MECHATRONIC, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time note the following:
- Replace the bolts for the DSG Transmission Mechatronic -J743- after removing.
- If the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743- is being replaced, the O-ring is included in the replacement part delivery package.
-- Carefully place the Mechatronic -1- in the transmission.
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743-. Refer to Figure.
-- Install the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
Basic Setting, Performing:
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester and select Individual testΒ .
- Diagnostic-capable systems
- 0002 - Transmission electronics
- 0002 - Transmission electronics functions
- 0002 - Mechatronic, replacing
-- Follow the instructions on the display.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
