MISFUELING Guard, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Insert the misfueling guard into the fuel filler neck.
- The tab on the misfueling guard must engage into the groove on the fuel filler neck -arrows-.
-- Turn the locking ring 25Β° clockwise and install it using the locking ring pliers.
-- If installed correctly, the markings on the locking ring and on the fuel filler neck will align -arrows-.
Function Test:
- The locking latch for the misfueling guard must not open without the Fuel Funnel :T40256Β or Emergency Refueling Funnel.
- The Fuel Funnel :T40256Β or Emergency Refueling Funnel must be inserted all the way into the fuel filler neck.
