-- Loosen the rear muffler mounting and lower it slightly using the Engine and Gearbox Jack: VAS6931Β  . Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Remove the heat shield -1-.

TIP:

g-tron: the retaining pieces from the left heat shield are different then the above illustration.

  • Left heat shield: 4 nuts
  • Right heat shield: 3 nuts
