CAUTION:
- Always disconnect the voltage supply whenever working on the rollover protection.
- Make sure no one is standing near the rollover protection when reconnecting the battery. Stand at least 1 meter away.
- Always remove the rollover protection when performing any body repairs near the rollover protection.
- After servicing body in vicinity of the rollover protection, check body for welding beads, deformations and chafe marks (compare with opposite side of vehicle if necessary).
- ALWAYS install rollover protection in vehicle as soon as it is removed from packaging (new part).
- NEVER leave rollover protection unattended!
- The rollover protection may not be disassembled or repaired. Always use new parts.
- A rollover protection may not be reinstalled if it has fallen on a hard surface or if it shows any signs of damage.
- Do not perform any repair work on the convertible top compartment cover near the rollover protection cover itself.
- Is the rollover protection system is damaged in an accident, replace it with a new part.
