Voice Recognition System, Removing And Installing: Installing
-- Install Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-, refer to Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Perform the following function test:
-- Switch on the Radio -R-.
-- Press the PTT button on the multifunction steering wheel briefly.
A "Ping" tone sounds, the speech input system is active.
-- Say the command "Help".
Since the Radio -R- is active, the speech dialog system responds with "Commands for the radio are...".
Depending on the equipment, other functions can be selected:
-- If a telephone is installed, say "telephone".
The speech dialog system switches to the telephone mode.
-- Press the PPT button for 1 second.
The speech dialog system responds with "Cancel" and is deactivated.
