CONDITION

- The following DTC is stored in the engine control module, J623 (address word 01):
- DTC P164B(00) (Oil pressure switch malfunction).
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
The oil pressure switch is defective.
PRODUCTION SOLUTION
Updated oil pressure switch.
SERVICE
- Perform GFF test plan.
- If GFF instructs to replace the oil pressure switch F22, or if the test plan is inconclusive, replace the oil pressure switch F22. Use updated part number 06E919081G.
