Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing
- Follow all safety precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.
-- Remove the memory seat/steering column adjustment control module. Refer to MEMORY SEAT/STEERING COLUMN ADJUSTMENT CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Press the pin -2- toward the cushion and out of the clip -arrow A- on the bracket -1-, for example, using an upholstery needle.
-- Remove the pin from the seat pan.
-- Remove the bracket support -2- from the seat pan upper frame.
-- Unclip the clip -arrow A- on the seat pan upper frame -1-.
-- Disengage the locking tabs -arrow B- (quantity: 2).
-- Carefully remove the bracket from the seat pan in the direction of the -arrow-.
-- Remove the bracket from the seat pan.
