2012 Audi A4 2.0T Avant QuattroSECTION Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519

-- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Disengage the 3 pin relay/fuse panel by pressing the retaining springs in the -direction of the arrow- and remove the relay/fuse panel -1-.

-- Remove the electrical wire -1- on the 4 pin relay/fuse panel.

-- Release the retaining spring -arrow A- and tilt the relay/fuse panel -3- out of the mount -arrow B-.

NOTE:

Ignore item -2-.

-- Release the retaining spring -arrow- and remove the vehicle electrical system control module -J519- -item 1- downward from the mount.

-- Disconnect the electrical connectors -2, 5, 6, 7 and 8-.

-- Disconnect the electrical connectors -3 and 4-.

-- To disconnect the electrical connector, press the catch -1-, rotate the retaining bracket in the -direction of the arrow- and remove the connector.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-- Install the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .
