Transmission Identification
The "6-speed automatic transmission 09L" is identified on the transmission data plate in combination with different engines. Allocation, refer to CODE LETTERS, TRANSMISSION ALLOCATIONS, RATIOS AND EQUIPMENT .
Identification Allocation on the Transmission
The transmission type plate -arrow- is located at the front and on the bottom of the transmission near the 16-pin connector.
The following data are listed on the type plate:
- Transmission serial number
- Parts list number
- Transmission identification, here 6HP19
- Codes, here GZV
Additional data depend on the manufacturing.
The transmission code letters are also included on the vehicle data labels.
