After-Run Coolant Pump: Removing
Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.
- The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
- Reduce pressure by covering coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and carefully opening.
-- Open the coolant reservoir cap.
-- Remove the front noise insulation by loosening the fasteners -1-.
-- Remove bolt -1- and disconnect harness connector -2-.
-- Place Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS6208 under engine.
-- Remove the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- from the coolant hoses -arrows-.
