Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Bracket -30 - 211 A-
- Holding Plate -VW 309-
- Hook And Support Tool -3311-
- Engine/Transmission Holder -VAS 6095-
- Shop Crane -Load Cap=700-1200kg -VAS 6100-
Procedure
Support the torque converter with -30 - 211 A- to keep it from falling out when the left flange shaft is removed.
- Mount the -VW 309- on the -3311-.
- Mount and secure the -3311- to the mounts on the transmission housing.
- Place the transmission into the -VAS 6095- using -VAS 6100-.
NOTE:
Vents for the transmission housing and final drive must be closed before turning a filled transmission with oil pan upward on the engine/transmission holder.
