Removing

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening torque 

Component Nm
Accelerator pedal module to pedal mount 9
NOTE:
  • If the Throttle Position (TP) Sensor G79/Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 G185 or the Engine Control Module (ECM) J623 is replaced in a vehicle with an automatic transmission, the kick-down function must be adapted.

Procedure 

  • Switch ignition on.
  • Press accelerator pedal down past the kick down point and hold for at least 20 seconds.
  • Release accelerator pedal.
  • Switch ignition off.
