The Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module J527 is controlled by an internal microprocessor with On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capability. If malfunctions occur in monitored components, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) will be stored in memory.

Troubleshoot steering column electronics malfunctions by performing OBD program with VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information system or VAS 5052 Vehicle Testing and Service System.
