After DTC memory has been successfully checked:

Display on VAS5051:

  • Under -1- select diagnostic function "05 - Erase DTC memory".

Display on VAS5051:

No display (before erasing)

or

DTC memory erased

NOTE: The following message appears in display zone -1-: "DTC memory not yet checked", if the operational sequence was not adhered to exactly. If the DTC memory has been checked beforehand, the DTC memory can only be erased.
