CONDITION

The headlight switch knob is pressed in, but the switch functions correctly.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

The headlight switch knob was designed with a normal position and a pushed-in position (Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3). This feature was designed to avoid injuries during a collision.

  1. Pull out the knob and return it to the original position.
  2. Explain the Technical Background  to the customer.
