Selector Lever Cable, Check And Adjust If Necessary: Notes
Checking Selector Lever Cable
- Selector mechanism checked. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, CHECKING .
-- Press the button and move the selector lever to the rear approximately 5 mm out of "P" and hold it there. Do not move it into "R".
-- Release selector lever.
- Selector lever must jump back to position "P" on its own
-- Adjust the selector lever if necessary SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECK AND ADJUST IF NECESSARY .
-- Move the selector lever into "N".
-- Press the button and move the selector lever forward approximately 5 mm out of "N" and hold it there. Do not move it into "D".
-- Release selector lever.
- Selector lever must jump back to position "N" on its own
-- Adjust the selector lever if necessary SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECK AND ADJUST IF NECESSARY .
-- Press the button and move the selector lever forward approximately 5 mm out of "N" and hold it there. Do not move it into "R".
-- Release selector lever.
- Selector lever must jump back to position "N" on its own
-- Adjust the selector lever if necessary SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECK AND ADJUST IF NECESSARY .
