Mobile Phone Prep

  • Telephone transceiver -R36-
  • Antenna -R11- (Ter/Sat/GPS/GSM) roof antenna
  • Telephone baseplate -R126- with cellular phone -R54-
  • Telephone Microphone -R38-

The telephone transceiver is equipped with a Bluetooth Antenna -R152-. Using this, all cellular phones approved by Audi can be operated with the Bluetooth interface with the cell phone preparation installed in the vehicle.

It is not possible to connect other devices via Bluetooth, for example headset, laptop, PDA, or similar.

Cell Phone Preparation Preliminary Setup

  • Black 18-pin connector behind the glove compartment.
  • Antenna (Ter/Sat/GPS/GSM) roof antenna.
  • Telephone microphone

Fault finding is performed via "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & Information SystemVAS5051.

Repairs on antenna wires, refer to ANTENNA WIRES, REPAIRING .

Repair to CAN bus lines, refer to CAN BUS WIRE, REPAIRING .
