Transverse Acceleration Sensor G200 and Rotation Rate Sensor G202 , removing and installing
The Transverse Acceleration Sensor G200 and Rotation Rate Sensor G202 are combined in one housing. It is located on front tunnel under air conditioner.
Removing
- Remove center console extension. → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT
- Disconnect connector from transverse acceleration/rotation rate sensor.
- Remove two mounting bolts - arrows -.
- Remove transverse acceleration/rotation rate sensor.
Installing
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.
When installing transverse acceleration/rotation rate sensor, ensure it is correctly seated in its mounting and is free of stress.
The transverse acceleration/rotation speed sensor should never be forced into position using fastening bolts.
- Tighten bolts to 10 Nm.
- If control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".
