Refrigerant lines, disconnecting from evaporator connection and connecting: Disconnecting
2007 Audi S8SECTION Disconnecting
- Drain refrigerant circuit: → 87 - AIR CONDITIONING
- Remove brake master cylinder and brake booster. → 47 - BRAKES - HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS
- Disconnect refrigerant lines at suspension strut dome by removing bolt - A -.
- Remove socket head bolt - A - (tightening torque 25 Nm).
- Disconnect refrigerant lines - B - and - C - from evaporator and seal open connections.
NOTE:
- To seal open connections on evaporator and lines, use e.g. cap from replacement evaporator to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture.
