2007 Audi S8SECTION Multi-function buttons, removing and installing
CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical components.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
Removing
- Remove drivers airbag → 69 - PASSENGER PROTECTION - AIRBAGS, SEAT BELTS .
- Pull off decorative ring from steering wheel.
- Disconnect harness connector - 1 - at button - 2 -.
- Slide button - 2 - out of steering wheel in - direction of arrow -.
- Turn the button around.
- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - to Tiptronic switch at multi-function button - 1 - and remove it.
Installing
- Install in reverse order.
Removing and installing the left multi-function button is identical.
