Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.
Removing
Vehicles without charge air cooler/auxiliary radiator:
- On vehicles with parking heater, remove parking/auxiliary heater exhaust pipe screws - arrows - at noise insulation.
- Unfasten bolts/quick-release fasteners - 1 - and - 2 - and detach front noise insulation.
Vehicles with charge air cooler/auxiliary radiator:
- Remove front bumper cover.
All:
- Disconnect electrical connector - 3 -.
- Remove nut - 1 - and remove horn - 2 - from bracket.
• Shown with bumper removed to provide a better illustration.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
Vehicles with charge air cooler/auxiliary radiator:
- Install front bumper cover.
