CONDITION
Daytime running lights do not work on vehicles with halogen DRLs.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
The thumb wheel or option for daytime running lights is turned off by mistake.
PRODUCTION SOLUTION
Not applicable.
SERVICE
A3, A4 (8E), Cabriolet, TT:
Check whether the daytime running lights thumb wheel is switched on. The DRL thumb wheel is located next to the light switch. On vehicles without a DRL thumb wheel, the DRLs are activated through the main headlight switch, by switching to DRL .
A4 (8K), A5, A6, A8, Audi Q7:
In vehicles with MMI, the daytime running lights are switched on via the menu option Exterior light control or Exterior Lighting .
