- Torque Wrench 5-50 Nm V.A.G 1331
- Torque Wrench 40-200 Nm V.A.G 1332
- Bracket VW 540/2
- Thrust Piece 3253/6 qty. 2
- Locking Pliers VAS 6199
- Box End Wrench Insert V.A.G 1923
- Hose Clamp Pliers V.A.G 1275
- Universal Dial Gauge VW 387
- Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner for example V.A.G 1373
- Drill
- 4 mm drill bit
- Pliers for outer securing rings, for example HAZE T1847-2
- Adapter 3313
- Dial gauge
Removing
-- Remove steering gear. Refer to STEERING GEAR .
-- Clean steering gear in mechanical thrust piece adjustment screw area and steering pinion cover.
-- Clamp the steering gear as illustrated.
- VW 540/2
- 3253/6 (quantity: 2)
-- Position the steering gear so it is in the straight position.
-- Drill the 6 peenings out using a 4 mm drill bit until reaching dimension -a-.
