Headlamps, Adjusting
Left HeadlampΒ
Left headlamp adjustment screws:
1 - Adjusting screw for adjusting the height/side setting on a Halogen headlamp
1 - Adjusting screw for the side setting on a Xenon headlamp
2 - Height adjustment screw
Placement on right headlamp is similar.
-- To adjust height on a Halogen headlamp, turn the adjusting screws -1- and -2- with same number of turns.
-- On a Xenon headlamp, turn the adjusting screw -2- to set the height.
-- To adjust laterally, turn only adjustment screw -1-.
Vehicles with automatic Headlamp Range Control:
-- Perform function program J431 - headlamp range control module, basic setting, to end.
