Rear Final Drive Identification: Notes
The 08V rear final drive unit is used with the following transmissions:
- 6-Speed Manual Transmission 02X
- 6-Speed Manual Transmission 0A3
- 6-Speed Automatic Transmission 09L All Wheel Drive (All Wheel Drive (AWD))
- Automatic transmission 01V All Wheel Drive (AWD)
- Allocation, refer to CODES, TRANSMISSION ALLOCATION, RATIOS AND CAPACITIES, AUDI A4 FROM MY 2001 AND CABRIOLET FROM MY 2003 .
- Allocation, refer to CODES, TRANSMISSION ALLOCATION, RATIOS AND CAPACITIES, AUDI A6 FROM MY 2005 .

Final drive 08V, Code Letters And Manufacture Date -Arrow-
-Arrow A- Final drive 08V with part number (example: 08V 500 043)
-Arrow B- Code letters "HUN"
-Arrow C- Rear final drive date of manufacture
