CAUTION:
  • Only if steering column is to be replaced:
  • First, check software version of vehicle electrical system control module -J519- using VAS5051B.
  • When installing the steering column, the vehicle electrical system control module must also be replaced if software version is < 0190.
  • Remove vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to [For engine(s) BVJ, BXA, CALA, BKH, BNK, CCAA] Removal and Installation .

The steering column is delivered only as a complete replacement part. Service is not possible.

The steering lock housing can be transferred.
