Navigation System Through August 2008
The navigation system is linked to the MMI infotainment system via the fiber-optic MOST Bus.
The navigation system is available from equipment version MMI basic plus.
With the version MMI basic plus, the navigation system with CD drive control module -J401- is located in the glove compartment and contains the radio -R- and the front information display control head control module -J523-.
In the MMI version, the navigation system with CD drive control module is located at the left rear of the luggage compartment.
All versions are operated via the multimedia control head -E380-.
Fault finding is performed via guided fault finding using vehicle diagnosis, testing & info. system VAS5051B.
