General information
On vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 service mode before disconnecting Battery A β Service mode, activating/deactivatingΒ .
If the Battery A is reconnected, follow the procedure for disconnecting and connecting the Battery A β - 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL . Deactivate Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 service mode β Service mode, activating/deactivatingΒ .

The Radio Navigation System (RNS) combines the functions of a navigation system with those of a vehicle radio.
The system consists of:
- Radio receiver part
- 5-inch color display
- Navigation system with angular acceleration sensor
- CD drive for navigation system
- Navigation System Antenna R50 connection
- Antenna Selection Control Module J515 / Left Antenna Module R108 connection
Enhancements:
- CD Changer R41 connection
- Navigation/TV Tuner J415 connection

For CD preparation, the CD changer R41 wiring harness is already installed in the vehicle. The connecting wire can only be used with genuine Audi CD-changers R41.
Diagnosis is performed using "Guided Fault-Finding".
Repairs on antenna wires β - 97 WIRING .
Repair to CAN bus lines β - 97 WIRING .
